Designing, discovering, and developing drugs is a costly and time-consuming process to treat new diseases. Techniques such as drug repositioning, by using a pre-designed drug for a new diagnosis, can reduce the cost of this process.
In this seminar, we will first introduce the problem of drug substitution, then we will review the common databases on this subject, and then we will introduce some computational methods.
