Topic | Prediction of antimicrobial resistance in bacteria |
Description |
Wide use and misuse of antimicrobial agents has led to antimicrobial resistance. Antimicrobial resistance is a global threat to human and animal health. Death rate and financial costs due to infection will intensively increase, if no steps to control this crisis, is taken. Identifying strains resistant or susceptible to certain antibiotics is essential for controlling antimicrobial resistance.
In this seminar, we will investigate the role of bioinformatics in controlling antimicrobial resistance and review related published articles.
